SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 1248


On the 9th day of May, 2016 the City Council of the City of Cashmere, Washington passed Ordinance No. 1248. A summary of the content provides as follows:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASHMERE, WASHINGTON, REPEALING CHAPTERS 3.44 AND 3.48 OF THE CASHMERE MUNICIPAL CODE, REPEALING THE RIVERSIDE PARK CONSTRUCTION FUND AND THE COMMUNITY ECONOMIC REVITALIZATION BOARD FUND.

Effective date of this ordinance is five days after publication. A copy of the full text of this ordinance is available at Cashmere City Hall or will be mailed to you upon your request to Kay Jones, City Clerk-Treasurer, City of Cashmere, 101 Woodring Street, Cashmere, WA 98815.

2015-16 Budget Extensions
Notice is hereby given that Brewster School District No. 111/ 203J is preparing to change the 2015- 16 Capital Projects & Debt Service Fund Budgets. The Directors will meet on May 23, 2016 at 6:50 p.m., in the high school library for the purpose of fixing and adopting these changes for the current fiscal year. PUBLIC NOTICE
City of Chelan, Deanne Reynolds, 50 Chelan Falls Hwy Chelan, WA 98816, is seeking coverage under the Washington State Department of Ecology’s Construction Stormwater NPDES and State Waste Discharge General Permit.
The proposed project, City of Chelan Lift Station No. 12, is located at  The lift station site is located approximately 700 feet south of the intersection of Lord Acres Road and Decatur Street, on the east side of Lord Acres Road. The proposed pipe alignment to and from the lift station run north from the lift station site to SR 150, and east from the lift station site approximately to Bighorn Way. in Chelan in Chelan county.
This project involves 1.75 acres of soil disturbance for Utilities construction activities.
All discharges and runoff goes to ground water.
Any persons desiring to present their views to the Washington State Department of Ecology regarding this application, or interested in Ecology’s action on this application, may notify Ecology in writing no later than 30 days of the last date of publication of this notice. Ecology reviews public comments and considers whether discharges from this project would cause a measurable change in receiving water quality, and, if so, whether the project is necessary and in the overriding public interest according to Tier II antidegradation requirements under WAC 173-201A-320.
