Manson church will host re-dedication Oct. 21
Instead of remodeling the New Home Missionary Baptist Church in Manson, congregation members chose to tear down the original structure and rebuild it.
Originally erected in 1954, crew members broke ground on the project in March and worked all summer to complete the building.
The community is welcome to attend the re-dedication of the New Home Missionary Baptist Church which will begin at 10 a.m., Oct. 21, and be followed by a pot luck luncheon. A week-long series of revival meetings will begin at 7 p.m. Oct. 22.
Long-time New Home Missionary Baptist Church pastor Meredith Jeffries passed away in February, but visiting pastors, Dewayne Burdette of Missouri and Todd Rice of Idaho will assist in the dedication and revival service meetings.
