Chelan basketball teams each win 2

The Chelan High School boys and girls basketball teams each won two Caribou Trail League games on the road Dec. 18 and 20. The victories put them both at the top of the CTL standings with 3-0 records.

Chelan boys 51,
Omak 34
Ivan Rodriguez and Michael Amsel, Jr., each scored 10 points to lead a balanced attack in a 51-34 victory Dec. 20 over Omak.
The Goats held a 30-11 lead at halftime and Coach Joe Harris emptied the bench as nine Goats scored. Hank Hollingsworth grabbed nine rebounds and Erick Oscarson scored 8 points.

Goats host annual Holiday Tournament

Chelan High School will host its annual Holiday Tournament Friday and Saturday.
The girls and boys teams will play.

Goat wrestlers win opener
The Chelan wrestling team won its first dual at the Best of the West in Tri-Cities on Friday.
They face 34 teams across three states.
The Goats defeated Inglemore, 55-15.
