Entiat volleyball defeats Manson

The Entiat Lady Tigers earned a hard fought five set win over the Manson Lady Trojans last Saturday.
Entiat took the first set, 25-20, but Manson came back and won the second set, 25-23 to even the match. Manson took the lead in the match by winning the third set, 25-23. But Entiat dug deep and earned the fourth set, 25-17 and carried that momentum into the fifth set, 15-8.
Last Tuesday, Entiat traveled to Pateros to face the Nannies, losing 3-1.
Pateros took the first set, 25-14. But Entiat showed they can play with Pateros by winning the second set 25-23. The Nannies regrouped and won the third set, 25-11. The Lady Tigers almost forced a fifth set, but Pateros closed out the match in the fourth set, 25-21.
Entiat has two more matches in the regular season, both against the Waterville Shockers. Entiat hosted Waterville on Tuesday, Oct. 29 and will wrap up the regular season on Thursday in Waterville.
