Last Friday, Jan. 10, the Tigers welcomed South Division leader Moses Lake Christian. It was Entiat's closest game of the season, but the Lady Tigers were able to come out on top, 53-44.
Entiat set the tone early with a strong first quarter, taking a 13-5 lead into the second. The second quarter was tight, with Entiat going into halftime with a 28-19 lead.
Moses Lake Christian started its comeback attempt in the third quarter. Entiat was out-scored in the third, only carrying a two-point lead into the fourth. Entiat regained its play from the first half and took over the rest of the game to earn the victory.
"We played Moses Lake Christian at home and got a big win against a quality team," Edwardson said. "We took a 9-0 lead and from then it was a game of runs. We were able to put a run together in the fourth quarter that extended our lead and we were able to hit some free throws to keep our lead at the end. A very big win for us to see where we are at this point in the season against a very good team from the South Division in our league."
