Tickets are now available at the Lake Chelan Mirror, 315 E. Woodin Ave., for the Leavenworth Rotary Club's Bavarian Raffle, for a dream vacation to Bavaria. The Raffle includes round trip air fare for two from Seattle to Munich and $3,500 in spending money. You can take the trip any time you wish. Raffle tickets are $10 each but only 2,500 tickets will be sold. Tickets are also available on line at Funds raised by the Raffle support local scholarships, the Food Bank, Free Clinic and many other Rotary Humanitarian efforts.
Bat Boy The Musical
Avalon Music, Hodgson's Family Care, Nick McLean Real Estate Group, North 40 Productions, and Tom K. Michael Family Dentistry come aboard as presenting sponsors of Bat Boy The Musical, the Performing Arts Center of Wenatchee's summer community production. The PAC is still accepting additional sponsors for Bat Boy the Musical; those interested may contact Matt Cadman for more information. Bat Boy the Musical will be produced by Don Fox and directed/choreographed by Jaime Donegan. The 11 performances will take place entirely on the PAC stage starting Thursday, July 31. The cast will be announced shortly.

Entiat Food Bank
The Entiat Food Bank will be open Friday, Feb. 28 from 3 - 5 p.m. It will also be open on March 14 and 28, 3 - 5 p.m. Sign in is at 3 p.m. Food Bank opens at 3:30 p.m. Please arrive early, you must sign in before food bank opens. A meal will be provided between 3:30 and 5 p.m.

Clothing and accessories will be given away on March 1 and 15, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Riverwalk Closet, located at Chelan Riverwalk Church on the corner of Emerson Street and Okanogan Avenue in Chelan. Greater Wenatchee Mended Hearts Chapter 91, Offering Hope and Encouragement to Heart Patients and Their Families in North Central Washington, will meet 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Monday, March 3, at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee in Conference Rooms F & G on ground floor. Use the hospital's main entrance (orange) parking lot and take the elevator down to ground level. Pancake supper
It's time once again for pancakes at supper time. The men of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church will be hosting the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper on March 4, 5:30-7 p.m. All you can eat pancakes (blueberry or plain), ham, applesauce and beverage will be served for just $4 per adult, $3 children, or $10 for the entire family. Join them for food and fun on "Fat Tuesday" in the Parish Hall of St. Andrew's Church, the historic log church on Woodin Avenue next to Kelly's Hardware. For information call the church 682-2851.
LCCH Girls Night Out
Girls Night Out by Lake ChelanCommunity Hospital will be Tuesday, March 4, 6:30 - 8 p.m., the board room and is free. Topic is Defense! Dr. Joshua Schkrohowsky, LCCH orthopedic surgeon will speak on, Defense against aging: The Fountain of Youth. Schkrohowsky, has special training in sports medicine and ACL surgery. There will also be a women's intro to self defense class by Addy Hernandez, 2008 "Woman of the Year" by Inside Kung-Fu Magazine. Hernandez promotes, organizes, and teaches at Wind and Rock, one of the fastest growing, most highly acclaimed martial arts training camps in the country. Crab feed
Friends of the NCW Fair announce their 16th Annual Crab Feed and Auction on Sat., March 8. Doors open at 5 p.m. and dinner is served at 6 p.m. Silent and live auctions will be held with funds raised to be used for capital improvement projects on the fairgrounds. Tickets are $40 per person and may be purchased by calling the fair office at 509-745-8480.
Health insurance enrollment events
Need health insurance? Columbia Valley Community Health is hosting a series of Saturday Health Care Enrollment Events for anyone who needs help enrolling into the Healthcare Exchange before the March 31 deadline. You do not need to be a CVCH patient. They will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 8: CVCH Chelan Clinic, 317 E. Johnson Ave. in Chelan; and Saturday, March 15, 22 and 29: CVCH Wenatchee Clinic, 600 Orondo Ave, in Wenatchee; and available on a walk-in basis. Bring: Identification Documentation (ID Card, Green Card, Naturalization Certificate or U.S. Passport), 2012 or 2013 Tax Return, Social Security Cards for everyone applying, Dates of Birth for everyone included on 2012 or 2013 taxes. Free tax help
AARP partners with the IRS to offer Volunteer Income Tax Assistance. Free tax help is available to low and moderate income individuals and families by an IRS certified volunteer. This help is available a the Chelan Public Library, 216 N. Emerson, on Wednesdays, Noon-6 p.m. Due to unforeseen circumstances the Chelan site will close March 12. You need to bring, proof of childcare payments, state issued photo ID, other IRS forms as appropriate, last year's tax return (if available), bank account and routing number, direct deposit of applicable.
