Entiat driver in traffic collision
An Entiat semi truck driver collided with a passenger truck carrying two teens and a young man at 6:30 a.m., Dec. 4, after the passenger truck driver attempted to make a left hand turn before the oncoming semi truck passed, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The 1999 semi truck driven by Zachary E. Abhold, 24, of Entiat, was traveling northbound on Dodson Road near Moses Lake when Oscar Marin Mendoza, 24, of Moses Lake, attempted to make a left-hand turn off Interstate 90.
Abhold was driving a truck with two trailers attached.
Marin Mendoza drove a 1995 white Chevrolet pick-up truck and was traveling with two Royal City teens; a 14-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl.
All three people riding in the pick-up truck were injured in the accident and transported by ambulance to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake.
