CITY OF CHELAN NOTICE OF DECISION On June 13, 2024, the City of Chelan Shoreline Administrator rendered a decision for APPROVAL of a Letter of Exemption from a Shoreline Substantial Development Permit, SDDP2024-01 & SEPA2024-03, Green Dock Extension and Boatlift Project. Project Description: This request is for a Shoreline Substantial Development Permit (SSDP) to construct a 288 sq ft pier addition to the existing dock, which will be formed into an "L" shape. This will increase the total dock area to 450 sq ft. The new pier will have a grated surface with at least 40% open area to reduce impacts on the shoreline ecological function. The project also includes moving an existing boatlift to the waterward end of the new pier. An existing mooring buoy will be relocated to deeper water.
