CITY OF CHELAN NOTICE OF DECISION On October 17, 2024, the City of Chelan Shoreline Administrator rendered a decision for APPROVAL of a Shoreline Substantial Development Permit, SDDP2024-07 & SEPA2024-10, Widmyer Boatlift & Buoy Project. Project Description: The request is for a Shoreline Substantial Development Permit (SSDP) to install a boatlift and mooring buoy on the subject parcel, in Lake Chelan. The boatlift will be installed adjacent to the existing “T” shaped joint-use pier on the downlake side and will be accessory to the residence under construction. Location: 103 Burbot Lane, Chelan. Columbia St, Suite 300, Wenatchee, WA 98801 Environmental Review: On October 16, 2024, the City of Chelan issued a SEPA Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS) utilizing the optional process pursuant to WAC 197-11-355. Appeal Period: This decision may be the subject of an appeal to the Hearing Examiner by any aggrieved person. Such appeals shall be an open record hearing before the Hearing Examiner. Appeals must be submitted within fourteen (14) calendar days after the date of decision together with the applicable appeal fee. Refer to City of Chelan SMP Section 7.13 and Chelan Municipal Code Chapter 19.34 for additional information. Pursuant to RCW 90.58.180, an appeal to the Shoreline Hearings Board of a final decision may be filed within twenty-one (21) days from the date of actual receipt by the State Dept. of Ecology of the decision.
