Project Description: The 2024 Amendment to the 2020 Water System Plan for the City of Chelan adds key projects to the current approved plan. These projects are to provide water to the Lake Chelan Airport for fire flow and potable use and provide additional water supply and storage for the City’s industrial land use while improving reliability and redundancy. The City of Chelan has determined that this proposal will not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030. This determination is based on the review of a completed environmental checklist and the 2024 Amendment to the 2020 Water System Plan document. This DNS is issued under WAC 197-11-340(2) and the comment period will end on November 27, 2024.
