COVID-19 testing and vaccine update

CDHD closes Saturday operations and merges vaccine and testing efforts at Town Toyota Center

EAST WENATCEE – Beginning this week, Chelan-Douglas Health District (CDHD) will close its Saturday operations and offer COVID-19 vaccines on Fridays at Town Toyota Center through the month of March.

Starting this week the Town Toyota Center will open Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Testing will be offered Monday through Friday and vaccines will only be offered on Fridays.

Both testing and vaccine clinics will be closed on Friday, March 11.

COVID-19 testing is open to everyone ages 2+ and pre-registration is no longer required. Anyone who believes they were exposed to COVID-19 (with or without symptoms) can get tested.

First, second and booster doses of the COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine will be offered to adults and children ages 5+ on Fridays only. Pre-registration is not required and individuals under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

CDHD partnered with various organizations and community agencies to offer free at-home test kits throughout Chelan and Douglas counties. Visit www.cdhd.wa.gov to for a detailed list of the various distribution sites.
