Tigers defeat Yakima Tribal, Mustangs

TOPPENISH - Entiat traveled to Toppenish on Friday afternoon, Sept. 30 to take on Yakima Tribal.  In an outstanding Defensive effort by the Tigers, Entiat defeated YT 56-0.  Entiat was led by three key Defensive Interceptions; one by Christian Santos, one by Noah Fogelstrom, and one by Trent Renslow.  Fogelstrom and Renslow both returned theirs for touchdowns (32 and 30 yards respectively), while Santos’ 52 yard interception return set up another Tiger score.  Noah Fogelstrom was in on 8 total tackles for the Tigers, while Pedro Arias contributed 9 total tackles, including a sack.  
Offensively, QB Landon Crutcher ran for 106 yards and 3 TDs on 6 carries, while Pedro Arias ran for 66 yards and a TD on 4 carries.  Crutcher was 9-12 passing for 86 yards, including TD passes to Monico Valadez-Robinson (8 yards), and Junior Verduzco (25 yards).  
Bridgeport at Entiat
ENTIAT - The Entiat Tigers opened NCW 1B League play Thursday night, Oct. 6 with a 62-32 win over visiting Bridgeport.  Scoring came early and often for both teams in the first quarter as Entiat outscored Bridgport 22-18.  The middle two quarters were dominated by Enitat, as they outscored Bridgeport 32-6 in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.  The Tigers were led Offensively by a physical and dominating Offensive Line that included Braedyn Brumback, Seth Miller, Isaiah Brumback, Eric Ayala, and Jovany Torres.  They paved the way for 255 rushing yards by the Tigers.  Landon Crutcher led the ground attack for Entiat, carrying 18 times for 116 yards and 5 TDs, while Pedro Arias added 18 carries for 110 yards and a 53 yard TD run.  Not to be outdone, Christian Santos caught 5 balls through the air for 105 yards, including a 46 yard TD.  Crutcher was14-20 passing, for 228 yards and 2 TDs.  Noah Fogelstrom also caught a 40 yard TD pass from Crutcher and contributed a key interception late on the Defensive end for the Tigers.  The Tigers held the Mustangs to negative rushing yards on the night.
