Lake Chelan Job Fair to connect local employers with students and job seekers

Posted

CHELAN — The Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce will host its annual job fair on Friday, March 21, at a new venue, Chelan High School. The event will run from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with dedicated hours for different attendee groups.

From 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., the job fair will be open exclusively to students and faculty, providing young professionals with early access to explore career opportunities and internships. At 3:30 p.m., the event will open to the general public, allowing job seekers of all experience levels to meet with employers from various industries.

"We're thrilled to partner with Chelan High School this year to foster direct connections between students and our valley's employers," said Mike Steele, Executive Director of the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce. "This dedicated time slot ensures students can explore potential career paths before the event opens to the broader community."

The job fair aims to create a centralized opportunity for local businesses, non-profit organizations, and job seekers to connect. Participating organizations will receive a table, linen, and business signage. Chamber members are offered complimentary registration, while non-members can participate for a $25 fee.

Businesses are encouraged to bring marketing materials, job applications, promotional items, and giveaways to attract potential employees. With limited space available, registration will close on Sunday, March 16, or once capacity is reached.
