Local churches to host Good Friday Services on April 18

CHELAN - Community members are invited to attend Good Friday services on the evening of Friday, April 18, as churches across the Lake Chelan Valley observe this important day of reflection in the Christian calendar.

The Lake Chelan Community Choir will perform during a special musical Good Friday service at North Shore Bible Church in Manson. The service begins at 7 p.m. and will include choral selections and a devotional centered on the significance of Jesus’ death on the cross. The event is free and open to the public. Also on Friday, Lake Chelan United Methodist Church, located at the corner of Johnson Avenue and Emerson Street in Chelan, will hold its Good Friday service at 5 p.m. The church will also host an Easter Sunday service on April 20 at 10 a.m.

Good Friday services are part of the broader Holy Week observances leading up to Easter Sunday, offering a time for quiet contemplation and remembrance.
