MANSON — The Manson Grange has installed a new Automated External Defibrillator (AED) after receiving a $2,600 grant from the Lake Chelan Health & Wellness Foundation.
The life-saving device will be available during all events and activities held at the grange, addressing a critical safety need for the community gathering space.
The addition represents a collaborative effort among local organizations to enhance public safety at the community venue.
In addition to providing the equipment, Chelan Emergency Medical Services personnel installed the device and conducted training sessions for grange members on proper usage protocols.
The Manson Grange expressed "heartfelt gratitude" to the foundation for funding the initiative and to Chelan EMS for their support with implementation and education.
