WENATCHEE—The NCW Tech Alliance will host an event highlighting digital equity and entrepreneurship as part of Digital Equity Month this September. The "Tech Trailblazers Unite" gathering is scheduled for September 10 at Pybus Public Market from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The event features a panel of local entrepreneurs discussing the impact of technology on their businesses. Panelists include Kellie Davies and Savannah Knowlton of Welcome Home Care, Jon Clark of NCW Woodshop, and Kelley Trim of The Landing Cafe & BBQ.
Over 40 organizations across North Central Washington have pledged support for digital equity initiatives. The alliance will recognize these commitment makers during the event.
Eight municipalities—Brewster, George, Omak, East Wenatchee, Quincy, Moses Lake, Wenatchee, and Leavenworth—have officially proclaimed September as Digital Equity Month.
The event underscores a regional effort to bridge the gap in digital resources, with participation from diverse entities, including NCW Libraries, Confluence Health, Microsoft, and various community organizations.
Tickets are available at $10 for NCW Tech Alliance members and $15 for the general public. Organizations that have made digital equity commitments can attend free of charge.
The NCW Tech Alliance, a non-profit established in 1999, focuses on fostering technological growth and development in North Central Washington.
