New treadmill boosts physical therapy services at Lake Chelan Health Hospital

Posted

CHELAN — Lake Chelan Health Hospital's physical therapy department has acquired a new $6,000 precore treadmill, enhancing its treatment capabilities.

The equipment was recently delivered after a lengthy search led by Dr. Jeffrey England, the hospital's lead physical therapist. Dr. England, a Manson High School graduate, earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University before obtaining his master's and doctoral degrees in physical therapy from Eastern Washington University.

The treadmill was purchased from Pacific Fitness Products, which offered the best price according to Dr. England's research.

Hospital Guild Y funded the acquisition through its 2022 and 2023 memorial brick fundraising sales.

Dr. England and other therapists at Lake Chelan Health Hospital are now incorporating the new treadmill into prescribed therapy for several clients.
