CHELAN — The winners of the 2024 Frances Walton Competition for Classical Musicians are set to perform a free concert on September 10 at the Chelan High School Performing Arts Center.

Yang, who studied under Logan Skelton at the University of Michigan, has won prizes in several competitions and performed with orchestras, including the Nashville Symphony. He holds a double major in Neuroscience and Piano from Vanderbilt University and has conducted research on the benefits of live classical music in intensive care units.

The concert, part of the Winners Outreach Tour, begins at 7:00 PM and is open to the public. For those unable to attend in person, a live broadcast will be available on Classical KING (KING.org) on September 6th at 7:00 PM.
