Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce welcomes new board members

CHELAN - The Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce has announced the newly elected board officers who will serve one-year terms. Krysta Westmoreland has been named President, Brun Garfoot as Vice President, Chad Steiner as Secretary/Treasurer, and Pete Lucini as Immediate Past President.

Westmoreland relocated to the Lake Chelan Valley in 2017 with her husband Gary and their dog Nala, opening The Meat Shop in Chelan. She brings experience in marketing and event management from her previous roles at Brandeis University, The Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce, and several non-profits in the Greater Boston Area.

Garfoot, a Stehekin native and Manson high school graduate, has over 15 years of experience in various fields, including operations, finance, executive leadership, outsource manufacturing, business optimization, and team development. He has worked with well-known companies such as Coinstar/Redbox, Pacifica Engineering, MTORRES America, Boeing, and Airbus. In 2019, Garfoot and his business partner Reed Courtney formed Discover Lake Chelan and purchased the Lake Chelan Boat Company.

Steiner, who grew up in Sumner, holds a BS in Ag Econ and an MS in Crop Science from WSU. He has worked in agriculture sales and marketing, bringing his family to various locations across the country. Steiner and his wife Jeana own and operate Chelan Valley Farms and Lagrioth Winery, and he is passionate about connecting people to agriculture in the valley.

Lucini, a public accountant, has worked in both academia and industry. She began her accounting career in Montana in 2004 and worked for two accounting firms in Yakima and Wenatchee before opening her own tax practice and consulting firm in Wenatchee in 2018. She specializes in tax, IRS representation, litigation support, and financial advising, and is Accredited in Business Valuation by the AIPCA. Lucini also runs the Manson Bay Market grocery store with her husband.

These four officers will join the other board members: Lester Cooper, Rotary; Jo Cowell, One Wines; Luke Wall, Only 7 Seconds; Lacey Lybecker, Cairdeas Winery; and Mistaya Johnston, Stehekin Valley Ranch.
