EAST WENATCHEE — Central Cascade Youth Football and Cheer (CCYFC) will host a Town Hall Meeting on May 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Eastmont Junior High auditorium. The event is open to parents, players and community members interested in learning more about the organization’s programs and opportunities for involvement.
The CCYFC Board of Directors will present a detailed overview covering a range of topics, including the organization’s mission, its approach to youth sports, player and family expectations, and ways for families to engage with the program.
“At CCYFC, we are committed to providing a positive and enriching experience for all our athletes, and we believe that open communication is key to achieving this goal,” the organization stated in a press release.
The informational session will highlight five key areas: who CCYFC is and what it stands for, how the program differentiates itself from other organizations, what families can anticipate from participation, volunteer opportunities, and an open forum for questions and answers.
“This Town Hall is the perfect setting for parents and athletes to learn about the philosophy and structure of CCYFC, our commitments to youth development, and how families can engage and contribute to our programs successfully,” according to the release.
Organizers encourage community participation, noting that engagement is vital to the continued success of the organization and the development of its young athletes.
“We encourage everyone to come out, connect with our Board, and gain valuable insights into the exciting activities we have planned for this season. Your participation is vital to the continued success of CCYFC and the development of our young athletes,” the release stated.
CCYFC provides youth in the community opportunities to participate in competitive football and cheer programs, aiming to promote teamwork, sportsmanship and personal growth in a safe and positive environment.
