Long-time Manson resident Bev Peters stands in front of the Art Wall in the Manson Community Library. The Art Wall features part of the collection that Bev has of her mother and grandmothers' quilts, some dating back as far as the early 1930's. Also featured on the wall is a slip that was tatted by Bev's grandmother around 1918 and framed quilt pieces made by both ladies. Bev's mother, Miriam Wilkinson was born in Indiana, moved to Washington in 1948 and was quite active in the Manson Community. The community is invited to come into the Library and view this beautiful display and learn some history about these two remarkable, very talented women. The display will remain on the wall until mid September. The Library is open: Tuesday 9:30 a.m.– 6 p.m., Wednesday 11 a.m. – 6 p.m., Thursday 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., Friday 9:30 a.m.– 2 p.m. and Saturday 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
