Boats on schedule to evacuate visitors from Stehekin as Level 2 order issued

STEHEKIN -- Authorities have issued a Level 2 evacuation order for Stehekin, prompting the immediate departure of all visitors, campers, and hikers from the area. 

Chelan County Emergency Management announced that the Lake Chelan Boat Company will maintain its regular schedule on Thursday, July 25, to facilitate evacuations. The Express boat will depart at 12:30 p.m., followed by the Liberty at 3:30 p.m. Additionally, the Stehekin Ferry will continue its normal operations for the time being, with a scheduled departure from the Stehekin dock at 10:40 a.m.
