CHELAN — The Chelan Rustlers Saddle Club and Aces Wild Pro Rodeo are set to host the 2024 Rodeo Parade on Saturday, July 20, in downtown Chelan. This year's parade will feature a new route and honor local heroes and community members.

Leading the parade will be Chelan Fire & Rescue, recognized for their tireless efforts in keeping the community and local businesses safe during a challenging fire season. The Chelan Forest Service and Smokey the Bear will follow closely behind. Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and Rodeo Queens from across Washington will also participate in the procession.

Spectators can expect to see the Wild Card Trick Riders showcase their acrobatic skills on horseback, along with the Chelan Rustlers Saddle Club Riders, ranging from youngsters to adults. Miss Lake Chelan and many local businesses and rodeo sponsors will also take part in the parade. Brandon Dunn, this year's rodeo clown, will add to the entertainment with his comical and fun-loving antics.

The parade will commence at 10 a.m. on Saturday, starting at the intersection of Webster and Woodin Ave. It will proceed across the one-way bridge, continue through town, turn right at Wells Fargo Bank, follow Wapato Ave. to Emerson, and then return to Woodin Ave. before crossing back over the bridge to the starting point on Webster.

The Lake Chelan Pro Rodeo will take place on Friday and Saturday evenings, July 19 and 20, at 7:30 p.m. For more information, visit the Chelan Rustlers Saddle Club website at www.chelansaddleclub.org.
