Confluence Health, WVMG announce community partnership grant applications

WENATCHEE — Confluence Health and the Wenatchee Valley Medical Group (WVMG) announced Tuesday that their Community Partnership Fund will begin accepting applications for grants supporting local causes and organizations in North Central Washington.

The fund, managed by the Community Foundation of North Central Washington, aims to award up to $500,000 annually to groups focusing on health and wellness, education, or arts and culture in Chelan, Douglas, Grant, and Okanogan counties. Grants will range from $1,000 to $15,000 per award.

“As an organization with a mission to be local care by and for our community, investing in this special place through these grants is just one of the ways we can help contribute to all those groups that make this region so great,” said Dr. Andrew Jones, CEO of Confluence Health. “We’re extremely proud of all the benefits this funding can bring to so many deserving groups.”

Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations, public agencies, and public schools serving students in the four counties. Private schools, churches, and faith-based organizations are not eligible, even if the grant is intended for non-religious purposes.

The Community Partnership Fund Committee will review submissions to determine awards, with funds being disbursed to selected organizations in October. The application deadline is July 31.

Grants can be submitted starting June 1, with an application deadline of July 31.
