The facility, known as Central Rock Gravel Pit, is or will be, located at 23505 US Highway 97A in Chelan. Activities at the facility will include Construction Sand and Gravel Mining and are due to start up on 7/1/2024. This facility will discharge process water and/or stormwater to Pond Overflow Channel. Ecology developed the Sand and Gravel General Permit with the expectation that sites covered under this permit will meet water quality standards including antidegradation requirements under WAC 173-201A-320.
