CITY OF CHELAN NOTICE OF DECISION On June 13, 2024, the City of Chelan Shoreline Administrator rendered a decision for APPROVAL of a Letter of Exemption from a Shoreline Substantial Development Permit, SDDP2024-02 & SEPA2024-05, Edgewater Condominiums Community Dock Replacement Project. Project Description: This request is for a Letter of Exemption from a Shoreline Substantial Development Permit (SSDP) involving the replacement of the existing floating portion of a dock at Edgewater at Chelan Condominiums. The new float will maintain the same size (2080 sq ft) and configuration, but will have a grated surface with at least 40% open area, improving lake ecology. The existing steel pipe piles will be reused, ensuring no new overwater coverage or ecological impact. The project is designed to avoid adverse impacts to the aquatic environment and, does not involve wetland impact or mitigation.
