Political hopefuls to address GOP women's group

MANSON — The Chelan Valley Republican Women (CVRW) announced their upcoming monthly meeting, scheduled for Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. The event will take place at Radiance Winery in downtown Manson.

The organization has lined up several guest speakers for the evening, including Mike Steele, candidate for State Representative #2 and Executive Director of the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce. Also slated to speak are Keith Goehner, candidate for State Senator, and Allan Blackmon, candidate for Chelan County District Court.

Additionally, Kelly Allen will represent the Braver Angels Movement, addressing the topic of "Navigating Difficult Conversations." The organization describes its mission as aiming to "bridge the partisan divide for the good of the democratic republic."

CVRW emphasized that "guests and non-members are welcome," adding that "men are always welcome" to attend the meeting.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to order food, wine, and beverages, which will be available for purchase at the venue.

The event provides an opportunity for local Republicans to engage with candidates and discuss current political issues in a community setting.
